Fireguns are mainly used to heat the copper/iron sheets used to remove adhesive parts, and sometimes to heat the nozzle removed due to blockage, in order to remove foreign objects (such as copper particles, iron filings, etc.) from the nozzle melt.

 

2. Flame temperature distribution of gun

 

The gas combustion of the flame core is not sufficient (lacking oxygen), and there is water vapor, which has less heat and low temperature.

 

The combustion of the internal flame gas is still incomplete, the heat has not reached its maximum, and the temperature is still not the highest.

 

The external flame gas is fully burned, releasing the maximum heat and temperature.

 

The correct method to use a torch flame for heating is to place the object to be heated in the outer flame area of the torch flame for heating. In this way, the heating effect is the best, which can fully utilize the heat energy and shorten the heating time.

 

3. How to use firearms

 

1) Before using a firearm, preparations should be made (copper/iron sheets should be serrated, grooved, or processed into diagonal patterns), and the firearm should be checked for air leakage and the air valve should be tightly closed.

 

2) Open the mold (adjust the distance as much as possible), turn off the power supply of the oil pump motor, and place the torch and copper/iron sheet near the mold (do not touch the mold). When the copper/iron sheet (wire) burns red and shiny, it should be immediately inserted into the remaining adhesive inside the mold and the torch gas valve should be closed.

 

3) After cooling, use pliers to clamp the end of the copper wall/iron sheet (wire) and carefully remove the adhesive block.

 

4) If it is not removed for the first time, repeat the actions of (2) and (3) above until the remaining adhesive stuck in the mold is removed.

 

5) When the firearm is not in use, immediately close the gas valve and deliver it to the designated place in the injection molding department for placement.

 

6) During use, it is not allowed to disassemble the nozzle, air valve, handle and other parts of the torch, or damage the torch artificially.

 

4. Precautions

 

1) When heating items, it is strictly prohibited to turn the flame towards people or the operating instructions key board (screen) of the injection molding machine to prevent burning to people or damaging the machine screen.

 

2) When using a torch, do not turn the flame towards the safety door, packaging materials, cans/bottles of liquids, and flammable items of the injection molding machine.

 

3) When the firearm is out of use, the gas valve must be tightly closed and it is prohibited to use a leaking firearm.

 

4) Tanks containing petroleum gas should be placed in a cool and ventilated place, and should not be placed near high-temperature barrels/nozzles or hot melt heads to prevent the liquid inside the tank from vaporizing and expanding due to heat, leading to explosion.

 

5) Do not touch the hot nozzle of the fire gun with your hands, and do not throw the replaced empty stone oil tank into the fire after use.

 

6) If a malfunction occurs during the use of a firearm and there is still petroleum gas left in the tank, the tank shall not be used.

 

7) When dismantling an oil tank, the torch should be taken to an outdoor ventilated and uninhabited area without a source of ignition, and the gas inside the tank should be released (with people standing upwind). Smoking is strictly prohibited!
